In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.  Khalil Gibran, Poet

The tributes and videos that were posted on a Facebook memorial website kylejamesburden following Kyle's death provided not only comfort to those closest to Kyle, but a shared connection with friends, long lost acquaintances and strangers from around the world. Here are a some of the tributes we want to share with you. If you are with someone you love, give them a hug and tell them you love them and what they bring to your life. You should never miss an opportunity to do it.

Smile for Kyle Day - 21st March

To celebrate Kyle's passion for living the dream and focusing on the simpler pleasures of life, we have a Smile for Kyle Day each year. We try to do something that would have made him laugh, or to travel to places that we know he would have loved to see in his lifetime. In doing so, it remind us of the joys we can so easily forget in the process of living.

For the Love of Surfing

A moving tribute posted by one of Kyle's friends just after Kyle's death. Max poignantly captures the beauty and athleticism of surfing, and the special place it holds in the hearts of people who are passionate for the sport, the ocean and the chance to be part of both. Kyle appears in the final frame, doing what he did so often, pondering the break with a keen surfer's eye.

Max Clifford is not only a keen surfer. He is a truly gifted artist and animator. Take at look at his portfolio of work. It is amazing!

An Ocean of Goodbyes

Flower on the Water is a haunting memorial written and sung by Australian musician John Williamson (Chandelier of Stars, © Emusic Pty Limited). It's for anyone who has ever lost a loved one and were never given the chance to say goodbye and I love you. We have used it with permission to create a tribute to Kyle, and for Kyle's uncle and grandfather who passed away within 18 months of Kyle.
